“ I went for a dinner date with my sister at the Richmond location. There were plenty of tables available, no wait time. They've got a few options to choose from, depending on the size of your party. Or you can order a la carte items. Seafood is market priced. King and/or Dungeness crab legs and lobsters are only included in the largest feast option. Market pricing is not on the menu but they do have a sign with all the info, hanging inside the restaurant. Quite pricey but The seafood fried rice is so amazing!! Definitely worth a try!! ”

“ Our go-to place when we’re craving crawfish. One pound per person is average. Captains boil sauce and Cajun are my favourite, my family had butter garlic and they were great too. This is not a place you bring your first date to, unless she’s adventurous. Be ready to eat with your hands. They provide plastic gloves but it kinda gets in the way of the enjoyment. Wash your hands before and after you eat . Oh, they serve beer too! Perfect match!! ”

“ Great experience and great food. We ordered the pirate’s feast which came with our choice of crab, 1lb each of shrimp, mussels, and clams, seafood fried rice, cajun fries, and a whole bunch of sides. There was more than enough food to feed 4 people and we were all very satisfied. The crab was perfectly cooked and had a good amount of meat, the mussels were massive and very flavourful, the clams were a bit small but were still good, and some of the shrimp were overcooked and mushy but that did not ruin the meal for us. We all enjoyed eating with our hands, which adds to the positive experience of this place. It’s definitely a treat to come here as the flavours can be very heavy and the prices aren’t cheap, but overall everyone had a great time! ”

“ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Captain Boil for the second time with my son, as a pre-birthday celebration for his upcoming 17th birthday, and I must say, it’s quickly become one of our favorite spots! We’re from northern BC so it’s now a must stop for us. The experience was fantastic. We opted for the traditional dining style, where the food is dumped right onto the table, and it truly added to the fun and excitement of our meal. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! We ordered a generous amount, and every bite was worth it. The seafood was fresh, flavorful, leaving us both eager for more but we were sooo full. Additionally, our server was incredibly friendly enhancing our experience even. Overall, I highly recommend Captain Boil for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal with family or friends.
